Month: March 2012

Today Lola is eleven months! Ahhh – how is it possible that in just one more month she will be a year old? Time just goes by too fast.  I haven’t taken any “pretty” pictures lately of the girls but yesterday I figured I needed a picture of Lola seeing how she was going to be eleven months today so I brought my camera to the playground and although I didn’t really get many of her alone, I did get a few ones of her and Lillie snuggling together.

Recently I was on the hunt for a couple of special gifts for family members. I knew for one of them I really wanted to get a necklace with a silhouette on it. I did quite a bit of looking around but couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind until I stumbled across Crafted by Kerstin on Etsy.

We pretty much have zero storage space in our home. Because of this I am
always on the lookout for pieces of furniture that can be used as
storage. Upstairs we just have one teeny tiny linen closet and then each
bedroom has a small closet.

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. The sun’s been shining here and we have been alternating between the great outdoors and the television thanks to March Madness. We also made the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites from Jamie’s post on Friday. Jamie warned me I might find them a little too buttery tasting so we added a little white sugar and a little more flour than the recipe called for, and I am embarrassed to say we have already eaten them all!

Today my lovely sister, Jamie is guest posting with another quick and easy recipe! Lillie and I cannot wait to try these! Anyway, here is Jamie:

If you don’t like cookie dough, this
recipe isn’t for you. For those of you who aren’t crazy, read
on.

Since Christmas I have just had some random things over here on this
little wall between our family room and kitchen. In early February I
moved our little hot chocolate station over here for easier access and so I could decorate in the dining room.
