For several years now I have had the same urn sitting on my dining room sideboard. I LOVE the urn but was starting to get a little bored with it looking the same. I did change it seasonally and for parties (ornaments and lights at Christmas, paper leaves for a thankful tree last fall, Cinderella’s slippers for Lillie’s birthday, tulips at Easter, etc.) but decided it was time to switch things around a little.
Month: August 2012
Last week I showed you the first part of Jamie and Josh’s dining room/den swap and today I am so excited to show you the second part, because it’s my favorite! For a little refresher you can click on this post and see what it looked like before when it was their dining room.
I have been busying transferring lots and lots of photos to my computer and getting several posts ready to go as well as taking new products shots. I didn’t have time to get a full post ready for today but thought I would pop in with a little outtake from one of the sets of product photos I am editing.
Today we are offering a couple of new items in our shop.
First, we have these Jane Austen embroidery hoops:
And also these fun vinyl stickers that can be used for a wide variety of things, including adding a fun touch to plates or other dishes.
I had been planning on baking a new dessert to photograph for this tutorial but since returning back home there’s been so many other things to catch up on that I haven’t had time, so instead I cheated and bought this one little piece of cake from the Fresh Market here in Williamsburg.
I have shown you quite a few pictures of my sister, Jamie and her husband Josh’s house in the past and have shown you their dining room on several occassions. This summer, they decided to switch things up a bit. They really wanted to move their den to where their dining room was and move the dining room to the den.
