Month: March 2014

We thought it would be fun to design a little downloadable chalkboard print in honor of the NCAA tournament that will be starting up this week. If you are a basketball family like we are, then it is fun to have one to keep up for the next several weeks and to fill in as each game wraps up.

Whew! The last few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind and I have barely opened my computer between painting like crazy and lots of traveling. I did take quite a few photos though before we left last week so now that I finally took the time to sit down on my computer last night I was able to go through and start editing several posts worth of them.

Today I thought I would show you how the guest bedroom/office is back to a more neutral more year-round look after adding some bright pink in there earlier this year in honor of Valentine’s Day.  It’s probably a little confusing to call this the office at this point seeing how I haven’t gotten a desk yet and started setting up the “office” part of the room but I figured I would start referring to it as that to help differentiate it from the gray guest bedroom now that that room has been updated.

It’s an exciting day for us! First, we hit 40,000 likes on Facebook last week so it’s time to host a fun little giveaway here. Second, it’s Jason’s 25th birthday, and third the Tribe is playing in the CAA Championship Game tonight! It has been such a fun weekend for us with two exciting wins (the quarterfinals Saturday and semifinals last night) and now onto the championship game.

We are so excited to be teaming up with Antique Farmhouse today for a giveaway!
We will be giving away a $50 Gift Card!

I first heard about them last year  when my sister, Dana, bought me this fabulous circular mirror for my birthday.

Ahhhh! Sorry. I am quite behind on blogging again. I have been painting painting and painting some more and when that happens I barely spend any time on my computer so I get quite behind on editing my pictures and writing blog posts. The good news is the finish line for painting all the main spaces in our house is in sight!
