Month: January 2016

Although it’s not completely finished, we have made enough progress in Lola’s room that I went ahead and photographed it yesterday so as soon as I can finish going through all of the photos and get a post written up (hopefully by tomorrow or Monday!) then I will share it with you all along with a detailed source list.

We hope you all are having a wonderful weekend so far. We are excited to announce that we’ve updated our website to make it much more mobile friendly and easier to navigate!

And we’ve also got some new products like these mugs:

And a fun new t-shirt with one of our favorite Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes:

We also wanted to ask for prayers for one of our close friends’ best friend, Jeff Moxley, who was in a tragic accident at work last week and has been left paralyzed.

Winter has finally arrived and it is COLD outside. Once the Christmas decorations come down the house always feels a little bit dreary in January so sometimes even just adding a few fresh flowers like these hydrangeas and some fresh eucalyptus that we can generally find for a great price at Trader Joe’s can help brighten things up a bit.

First, a little disclaimer, the way the light comes in this room makes it very tricky to photograph particularly this time of winter so try to ignore all the bright spots and shadows – ha! Nothing in this room is new, it’s just a merging of our two guest rooms now that the other one has become Lillie’s room.

There’s definitely some things I’d like to change in here like the lamps and possibly adding something above the bed and I am thinking about a couple of other things to mix it up a little more, but here is how it looks for now with just the merging of the stuff from the two rooms.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!!

I hope you all are having a wonderful week! I just wanted to pop in real quickly to share a couple of new prints we now have available in our shop and I’ll be back later this week with pictures of our guest room now that we’ve switched the furniture all around upstairs.

First, let me just say we are definitely not finished with Lillie’s new room but we’ve made enough progress in here that we figured we at least share what we’ve done so far. The first thing we did was switch the beds from the two guest rooms. Honestly for about 2-3 weeks I kept trying to coming up with a plan that made it so we could keep the guest beds in the rooms that they were already in because I was dreading taking the two beds apart (well, technically the white tufted one is quite easy, but this canopy one is a nightmare!) but deep down I knew that I would always kick myself that I didn’t take the time to switch them.
