My family grew up in New England in a town flooded with lilac bushes, in fact it’s where Louisa May Alcott was inspired to write Under the Lilacs. Pretty much all of my relatives have had gorgeous lilacs including my parents, my grandparent’s and even Jason, and although I have been able to cut many a branch from their yards I have always dreamed of being able to cut lilacs from my own yard.

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! We shared a few photos of Jamie and Josh’s new family room on Friday and today we thought we would share some more images of the space. I absolutely love how they have updated the space, yet still kept the blue tones that are so reminiscent of our Uncle Bob throughout the room.
One of the first projects my sister Jamie tackled when they moved into their new home this winter was painting all of the trim, beams and the kitchen cabinets. They were a brilliant blue color that worked wonderfully for our Uncle Bob’s style but were a little bold for Jamie and Josh’s style.
My sister Jamie, and her husband Josh and their two adorable little girls moved in December. They sold the house that they built a few years ago (that we featured quite a few times her on Dear Lillie) and moved a few towns over to where most of the rest of our family lives.
We finally added some finishing touches to our den. We’ve been searching and searching for the right ottoman for the space. I’d found several different ones that were close to what I had in my mind but either not quite the right size or were more than I wanted to spend.
I hope you all are having a wonderful Friday! We thought we would pop in and share a wonderful shop with you called Le Papier Studio. The owner Vana is so talented and easy to work with and I love their jewelry, especially this Silhouette Charm Necklace with Lillie and Lola’s sweet little faces.
