Month: July 2016

Although we still have a few finishing touches to add (like a door for the shower and some artwork for the walls) our master bathroom is basically finished! We thought this was going to be one of our first big projects that we would tackle when we first moved in three years ago but we kept moving other projects ahead of it so it ended up being our last big project – ha!

Happy Friday! Our bathroom makeover isn’t quite finished yet – we still need the shower door and some art for the walls but otherwise it’s basically done! I took a bunch of photos earlier this week and am working on a post for this weekend but thought I’d share a few little peeks today:

Have a fabulous weekend!

This back hall connects the two bedrooms downstairs, or what used to be the master bedroom and library. Our uncle was a great reader, and had a fabulous book collection that filled the walls of built-ins in the library…and all the other bookshelves in the house. As much as we loved the library, for our family, it really needed to be a bedroom.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! We just got back from spending time with our family in New England so tonight is just a quick little post but I am excited to hopefully have some master bathroom shots to share with you this week! I’m not sure yet if I will be able to get the full post up or just some sneak peeks but either way I am excited.

Just popping in to say I hope you all have a lovely weekend! Here are a few images I took earlier this week at my parent’s house while photographing our newest sign. I love these old family books and these beautiful peonies from the local florist.

And here is the sign:

!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ?

Here are some more pictures of our bedroom at Bluestone Hill. We painted the walls Benjamin Moore Hale Navy, which I had already used on the island in the kitchen and loved, and the trim White Dove, which we have used on all trim so far throughout the house, with the exception of our daughter’s bedroom.
