We are excited to be starting on the upstairs hallway bathroom next week so I thought today I would share a little look at what we are planning on doing in here.
This living room has been a long time coming, to say the least. I started painting in here shortly before Evie stopped napping late last summer–at which point, progress came to a screeching halt. After months and months of painting a little bit here, a little bit there, and several intervals of giving up, I have finally painted over all the green trim, beams, and built-ins.
One of the things I was most unsure of when we first saw this house was this wet bar area. I knew that I didn’t want to keep it as is, but wasn’t sure if we should rip it out entirely or try to update it and turn it into a coffee bar.
A few weeks ago I shared some pictures of our upstairs hallway with the progress we had made so far and today I am going to share it now that it is basically finished! I am going to switch out the shades on the lamps for either cream or possibly black ones once I find ones in this size and then I may switch things up a bit seasonally but otherwise it is finished.
