With the exception of hanging some of her Sound of Music posters and other pictures over on the wall above her keyboard (shown at the end of the post) I think we are pretty much done for now with Lillie’s room! We had initially talked about doing pink and aqua in here but somehow pretty much everything she found ended up being pink or gold. I do think somewhere down the line as she gets older we will probably add some other colors in here but for now she is loving the soft pinks, whites and gold accents.
The main addition in here since we last posted about her room was adding a light fixture. I fell in love with this chandelier from Kathy Kuo Home and knew even though it would be a little bit oversized for her room, the whimsical nature of it and the dainty shape and features along with the antique gold finish would be a great finishing touch to her room and I am so glad we went with it! I love walking down the hall each day and seeing it! If you haven’t even been to their website I highly recommend heading on over. They have so many gorgeous pieces of furniture, light fixtures and all sorts of stunning home decor items.

We also added some fun little accessories to the room from Target like the sweet little swan, the doll on the bed and the lamps. The lamps are a little smaller than what I was looking for but they are the kind that turn on and off just by touching them which of course completely fascinates my girls so despite the fact that once I put them in her room I realized they were a little smaller than I had planned on, I think they are here to stay -ha!

We also added some fabulous new brushed brass 1″ metal hardware for our draperies. A really sweet reader named Joni from Joni Yost Interiors, LLC sent them to us. They are absolutely beautiful and now I want to add them to every room in the house. I love the sophisticated finished look they provide. If you are interested in getting more info about them you can e-mail her at joniyost@gmail.com.

We found the cute little bunny and lamb artwork at HomeGoods but you can also find them online here.  And we still absolutely LOVE our Beddy’s bedding!

We love these adorable elephant bookends! I actually stole them at one point for my office. I love the color of them and they are just so cute.

On the wall opposite her bed she has her keyboard. As soon as I have some time I’d like to build this stand for it. And then we still need to hang her Sound of Music posters and other pictures for a gallery wall over on this wall.
Here are a few wide angle shots:

And here’s the view into Lola’s room:
Well, that’s it for today! I hope you have an amazing weekend!

5 thoughts on “Lillie’s Room With a New Chandelier

  1. Such a beautiful room with so much thought and personality put into it. It couldn't be more perfect!

  2. Love this so much! I bought the swan yesterday for my guest room (29 going on 5) and the ballerina doll for my niece.
